ਝਟ ਕਰ ਝਟਕਾ ਸੂਰ ਕਾ, ਮਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੰਗਵਾਇ
ਸੰਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਥੀਂ ਆਦਿ ਲੈ ਬੰਦਈਅਨ ਦੀਯੋ ਛਕਾਇ ।੧੫੦।
ਲਾਇ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ ਸਭੀ, ਨੀਲੰਬਰ ਪਹਿਨਾਇ।।
ਭਰਮ ਭੇਦ ਸਭ ਮਿਟ ਗਯੋ, ਭਈ ਏਕਤਾ ਆਇ।੧੪੧।

Bandai were against Non-Veg Food
 ਮਾਸ ਮਛੀ ਨਹੀ ਖਾਣ ਬਨ ਗਏ ਵੈਸ਼ਨੋ
ਪਯਾ ਵਿਖਾਧ ਸੀ ਆਣ, ਮਧ ਇਵ ਖਾਲਸੇ।੧੪੩।

This tells that Khalsa use to take Animal food and is not against but when Bandai Sikhs turn Vaishno and changed certain code of conduct, this turn into quarrel between Nihang and Bandais

The second line itself tells that Guru Gobind Singh had no problem in killing animals.
