ਮੀਨੁ ਪਕਰਿ ਫਾਂਕਿਓ ਅਰੁ ਕਾਟਿਓ ਰਾਂਧਿ ਕੀਓ ਬਹੁ ਬਾਨੀ ॥
ਖੰਡ ਖੰਡ ਕਰਿ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਤਊ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਿਓ ਪਾਨੀ ॥੨॥
मीनु पकरि फांकिओ अरु काटिओ रांधि कीओ बहु बानी ॥
खंड खंड करि भोजनु कीनो तऊ न बिसरिओ पानी ॥२॥
Mīn pakar fāʼnki▫o ar kāti▫o rāʼnḏẖ kī▫o baho bānī.
Kẖand kẖand kar bẖojan kīno ṯa▫ū na bisri▫o pānī. ||2||
A fish is caught, cut up, and cooked it in many different ways.
Bit by bit, it is eaten, Even then, i do not forget Pani. ||2|| (Water is Sarang Pani or Jal of Babiha i.e Soul)
Note: This experience is personal as he took fish and felt that fish had not change his inner status.
Note: Another interpretation prevails which says that when fish is eaten, fish looks for water inside stomach, which is not scientific or even Spiritual explanation. Have we seen any Living being got killed and still asking for water after death?
Note: If Bhagat Ravidas Ji was so strict vegetarian then He could not give such utterance for Vegetarian Sangat. Relating his love to god with cooked fish in stomach is....
