By studying history, we get this fact before us that Neither Gurus were against Animal Food nor they were terrorizing people to take it. Animals are used in various ways by our bhagats, gurus and Singhs Incl. Food:

Guru Nanak Dev Ji:

• Guru Nanak Sahib used Animal Bones against Juth Such believer Brahmin 

Guru Angad Dev Ji:

• Guru Angad Dev ji took Goat Meat at Khadoor Sahib

Guru Har Rai Ji :

• Guru Har Rai ji use to Go for Hunting Expedition

Guru Gobind Singh Ji:

• Guru Gobind Singh took Goat Meat at Machiwaadaa
• Guru Gobind Singh orders Khalsa to have Jhatka Meat only
• Guru Gobind Singh and Khalsa to Jhatka a Goat at Banda Singh Bahadur ji's Dera
• Guru Gobind Singh killed five Goats during Creation of Khalsa 

Bhai Mani Singh and Khalsa

• Bhai Mani Singh called Jhatka of Boar meat to turn Bandais to Khalsa

Bhagat Sadhna Ji:

• Bhagat Sadhna was a butcher and acknowledged by Ravidas Bhagat and Bhai Gurdas
